The following usage and distribution guidelines govern the sharing and redistributing of content found on Blue Letter Bible's websites and mobile applications.
Blue Letter Bible exists to provide free online Bible study resources for the benefit of the global Church. As such, users have permission to present and share content and links found on Blue Letter Bible's websites for the purpose of providing free Bible studies and teaching. In doing so, please provide appropriate sources and references, as stated in the sections below.
Users have permission to cite and provide excerpts found on BLB for use in profit-related activities, such as the publication of books, media, and other resources. Users must request permission to use significant portions of resources (over 500 words). Such permission must be granted by BLB or outside teachers, authors, and ministries, as is stated in the sections below.
Blue Letter Bible does not give permission to scrape any content from BLB's websites as significant time and resources have been invested in presenting materials for the effective study of Scripture, including but not limited to proofreading and reformatting. There are sites that have public domain content available for full download, please use those sites. Scraping data from our site may lead to a user being blocked from our site.
The following guidelines represent the requirements needed to share content from BLB. To see whether permission is needed to share specific types of content see the Content Sharing Guidelines section.
A CITE THIS button is provided on each web page, which provides appropriate citations in the MLA, APA, Chicago, and SBL formats.
No permission is needed to link to resources found on our websites.
No permission is needed to credit BLB as the source of something you use. However, we ask that BLB is given appropriate credit.
Accordingly, we provide a CITE THIS button on each web page in MLA, APA, Chicago, and SBL formats in order to make crediting easy.
Since significant work goes into preparing and delivering public domain content, we do ask that you credit Blue Letter Bible and provide a link to https://www.blueletterbible.org/.

Permission is needed when sharing content from outside authors, teachers, and ministries (content that does not come from BLB).
BLB has received permission to redistribute such content. However, this content is owned by those authors, teachers, and ministries, and is subject to their permissions.
Users may link to content distributed by BLB but may not redistribute content on their own media channel without the express permission of the content provider.
This policy is inclusive of all text, audio, and video content.
To request permission, users should contact the specific contributor for permission by visiting the author's profile page located at the Text Commentaries and Audio & Video Commentaries author libraries.
For non-public domain content, for which no author information is provided by BLB, up to 500 words of content provided by BLB that has no author attribution on BLB may be shared as long as the content is properly cited and delivered according to the requirements listed under Crediting Guidelines.
Downloading and sharing video content requires permission from the content provider.
If the content provider is an outside author, teacher, or ministry, then refer to previous section, Sharing Content from Outside Authors, Teachers, and Ministries.
If the content provider is BLB, then contact us for permission to download and redistribute. BLB's preference is that users link to BLB's video content, which does not require permission.
No permission is needed to present and create audio, text, and video tutorials. Users may not claim to represent BLB in any way when presenting a BLB tutorial. Please include a reference or click through to https://www.blueletterbible.org/.
Users may use BLB's logo on their website as long as the logo includes a clickable link that redirects the user to BLB's website at https://www.blueletterbible.org/.
Users may not print BLB's logo or use it for any other purpose than what is stated above.
The Blue Letter Bible ministry and the BLB Institute hold to the historical, conservative Christian faith, which includes a firm belief in the inerrancy of Scripture. Since the text and audio content provided by BLB represent a range of evangelical traditions, all of the ideas and principles conveyed in the resource materials are not necessarily affirmed, in total, by this ministry.
